Holiday home

The accommodation is ideally suited for 4 people. There are two separate bedrooms each with a private bathroom. A large living room and kitchen provide a hassle-free stay. The furnishings, include a dining table, tableware and sauna room are equipped for up to 6 people. An additional high quality bedroom next to the guest house allows a stay of 6 people. Alkenrode can also be rented by two people who want to experience the home for themselves.

Appartement

Alkenrode logies is een vakantiehuis voor in beginsel 4 personen. Twee aparte slaapkamers met eigen badkamer, een grote woonkamer en keuken zorgen voor een zorgeloos verblijf. De inrichting, met onder andere eettafel, serviesgoed en saunaruimte is ingericht voor maximaal 6 personen. Een extra vergelijkbare slaapkamer naast het vakantiehuis maakt een verblijf van 6 personen mogelijk. Eventueel kan het vakantiehuis door twee personen gehuurd worden voor hen die Alkenrode in luxe met z’n tweeën willen ervaren.

Our prices include the costs

Our prices include VAT, booking fees, and the costs of water, electricity, use of the sauna with sauna towels and bathrobe. Additionally, the use of bed linen and towels is also included in the price. We assume you will treat the holiday home and/or apartment with respect and leave it tidy. Nevertheless, we charge a final cleaning fee (€60 for the holiday home and €40 for the apartment).

During the winter season, running from November 1 to April 15, an energy surcharge is applied for gas consumption and unlimited wood use for the wood stove in the holiday home. This surcharge amounts to €12 per day for the holiday home and €6 per day for the apartment. During the summer season, from April 15 to November 1, the energy surcharge is €6 per day for the holiday home and €3 per day for the apartment. This surcharge has been applied since April 1, 2022, due to turbulent developments in the global energy market and significant price increases imposed by our energy supplier, Essent.

Finally, we are required to charge a tourist tax of €2 (2024) and €2.75 as of January 1, 2025, per person per night for guests aged 6 and older in the municipality of Gulpen-Wittem.
The revised amount of the tourist tax for 2026 has not yet been announced.

If we need to cancel a booking, our cancellation terms will apply. If no portion of the stay costs is charged as a cancellation fee, an administration fee of €25 will be applied.
